SageNet is Filling Big Shoes at NRF’s Big Show
in the Big Apple

January 11, 2024

Latest ‘Phygital’ and Connectivity solutions to be featured at SageNet Booth #302

TULSA, Okla. – Jan. 11, 2024 – SageNet, a Tulsa-based managed network, digital signage and security services provider, is featuring the latest Phygital (physical/digital) and connectivity technology at this year’s NRF 2024 show, Jan. 14-16 in New York City through a simulated retail shoe store at its booth #302.

Visitors to SageNet’s booth (Booth #302) also will have a daily opportunity to win a REALLY big shoe at the Big Show (one of the biggest shoes in sports history): an authentic autographed Shaquille O’Neal Reebok Size 22 sneaker.

“With help from our shoe retail client Snipes, we’re excited to showcase the very latest technology for the deployment and ongoing management of the Phygital retail environment,” said IV Dickson, SageNet’s Chief Innovation Officer. “Visitors to our booth will have the chance to see exactly how SageNet creates custom network connectivity and digital experience solutions to help retailers increase foot traffic and sales.”

SageNet’s shoe retailer-themed booth is designed to let visitors see, touch, and experience the latest Phygital engagement solutions, including:

  • “Lift and Learn”
  • AI Voice Product Finder
  • Dynamic Planogram Technology
  • Digital Merchandiser
  • Queuing Status Board
  • Shelf-Edge and Electronic Shelf Labeling (ESL)
  • Data Collection and Video Analytics Solutions
  • Contactless Digital Signage Interaction

Emulating a shoe retailer, SageNet’s booth will offer a holistic ecosystem featuring lift-sensing technology, integrated with traditional, shelf-edge, and ESL displays. When a shoe is lifted, content on an adjacent digital screen will change to show that shoe’s information. In addition, SageNet will have an AI voice-driven shoe finder kiosk that features voice and touch infrastructure that aligns with the shoe inventory on the shelves and triggers ESL or shelf-edge animation capabilities when one of the shoes is selected in the kiosk.

Amplifying the power of “lift and learn” technology, Dickson said the booth demonstrates several of SageNet’s retail digital experience solutions to reimagine retail shelf marketing and maintenance.

“Customers now expect an immersive digital experience,” said Dickson, “one that is adaptable, flexible, and current. To meet that need and ensure their merchandising efforts are evergreen and effective, retailers understand they need to adapt to an integrated digital/physical approach. We’re excited to show how SageNet is working with retailers to help them address the big issues in today’s market – from Phygital and the fabric of connectivity for customer continuity to AI and intelligent decision making.”

SageNet has more than 30 years of experience providing a broad range of managed network, digital signage, and cybersecurity services to the retail industry. Services range from interactive digital experience initiatives to primary and back-up networks, merchant connectivity, and PCI-compliant networks, as well as customized networking technology solutions – all optimized to meet the needs of multi-site operations.
