March 8, 2024

SageNet to unveil new SageVIEW.ocx at MURTEC March 11-13

TULSA, Okla. – March 8, 2024 – SageNet, a Tulsa-based managed digital experience and network services provider, has been selected as a finalist for Restaurant Technology Network’s (RTN) “Ring of Fire” technology innovations competition. SageNet will unveil its SageVIEW.ocx (Order Confirmation Experience) at MURTEC 2024, March 11-13 in Las Vegas.

RTN’s “Ring of Fire” competition annually seeks out the most impactful new solutions in QSR tech. SageNet subject matter experts will take the stage at MURTEC to present the breakthrough SageVIEW.ocx, an integrated order confirmation solution designed to accelerate QSRs’ drive-thrus by eliminating human error, increasing efficiency, and expanding basket sizes.

Visitors to SageNet’s MURTEC booth (Booth 501) can learn about SageVIEW.ocx and other cutting-edge restaurant technology to enhance the customer experience both in-restaurant and at the drive-thru, including always-on connectivity that works in conjunction with SageNet’s dynamic menu boards, order confirmation and order status solutions.

To showcase its emphasis on speed and performance, SageNet will offer visitors a chance to win an autographed Dale Earnhardt Jr. racing helmet.

According to IV Dickson, SageNet’s Chief Innovation Officer, SageNet’s SageVIEW.ocx is the industry’s first digital menu board solution to offer turnkey order confirmation for the Qu Beyond web-based POS platform.

“SageVIEW.ocx instantly transforms order data into a customer-facing confirmation while reflecting the restaurant’s unique brand experience. Developed through API, SageVIEW.ocx is seamlessly integrated to take full advantage of the larger SageVIEW ecosystem,” said Dickson. “This technology is in pilot with a large, national franchise focused QSR with approximately 400 locations, and is already producing results in the drive-thru.”

SageVIEW.ocx promises reliability and instantaneous brand-specific visual confirmation, while also:

  • Dramatically reducing human error in consumer feedback
  • Providing compelling suggestive-selling opportunities to increase basket size
  • Allowing restaurants to utilize the full power of the broader digital signage platform (day-parting, inventory and environmental alignment, LTOs, calories, images, etc.) with the order confirmation process

“Order confirmation has often been seen as tactical within the QSR industry. But SageVIEW.ocx expands order confirmation into a strategic position providing a tool to increase basket size and order profitability, while continuing to assist with order accuracy,” said Dickson. “It’s the next step in the broader evolution of digital menu boards, empowering loyal customers and restaurant owners to mutually benefit through the enhanced brand experience.”

SageVIEW.ocx is part of SageNet’s turnkey digital menu board ecosystem that offers design, engineering, content management and creative services through SageVIEW Experience Labs, along with complete monitoring, management and maintenance.
