SageNet Celebrates 25 Years of Innovation
TULSA, Okla. – July 13, 2023 – SageNet, a leading managed network, digital experience, and security services provider, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this summer.
A quarter-century after its founding in Tulsa in 1998, the company is commemorating its anniversary by celebrating its associates and customers, reflecting on 25 years of innovation and trusted connections.
Since 1998, the company has grown from a regional firm focused on local and wide area networks, evolving into a leading managed services provider specializing in connectivity, digital signage, and cybersecurity for the nation’s largest retail, financial, healthcare, and energy companies.
The industries SageNet serves have seen an unprecedented progression of technology over the last quarter century. Retailers have experienced transformative changes, including the rise of e-commerce, guest Wi-Fi, data analytics, loyalty apps, interactive digital signage and emerging technologies like AI and AR/VR. With each advance, SageNet has worked side-by-side with its customers to adapt, deploy and manage these advances via a future-proof managed services ecosystem backed by a fabric of fast, reliable and secure connectivity.
According to company founder and chairman Daryl Woodard, the ability to stay innovative while retaining its trusted connections approach to personalized customer service continues to be the key to SageNet’s success.
“Twenty-five years is a milestone that matters, especially with the increasingly dynamic state of the marketplace. It speaks volumes regarding staying power, agility and customer confidence,” Woodard explained. “Most importantly, it’s a testament to our associates. Over the last 25 years, I’ve had the extreme pleasure of working with some of the smartest, most hard-working people you could ever hope to meet. I’m truly humbled to share this incredible journey with so many dedicated individuals. It may sound cliché, but teamwork really does make the dream work.
“When we started this journey way back in 1998, we had a vision. We dreamed of building more than a successful business. We wanted to create an organization that made a positive impact on the lives of our customers, our communities, and most importantly, our associates.,” Woodard continued. “I must admit, SageNet has exceeded my dream. I couldn’t be prouder of our associates and the company we’ve built together.”
The formula has worked well for SageNet. Still headquartered in Tulsa, the company now has regional offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto and Washington, D.C.
According to SageNet CEO Brad Wise, this drive to stay on the forefront of innovation and technology for customers is exactly why SageNet is well positioned for the future.
“After 25 years of evolution as a company, we keenly understand how important it is to anticipate the needs and opportunities of tomorrow and provide the thought-leadership to help our customers succeed,” said Wise. “We’re proud of our rich and innovative history, and we’re grateful for the support and trust of our clients, especially all those who have been with us for decades.
“Of course, while we’re so proud of this milestone, we are not about to rest on our laurels,” Wise continued. “We have a team of 400 associates who come to work each day fired-up to serve each other and our customers. I’m proud of our success, but I’m even more excited about the future.”
In commemoration of this milestone anniversary, SageNet is hosting a series of internal and external events to mark the occasion and celebrate its employees and their families, including a company-wide spirit week and associate appreciation events at each major location.
